i'm not trolling against hurts. he is a great college qb with Alabama.

BUT, ridley provides the big problem in defending Alabama. some good defenses have shown you can stop Alabama's running game, including corralling hurts. but ridley gets wide open for big plays. I don't know how it happens but he manages to time and time again at crucial points in the game. hurts is able to get bailed out hitting a wide open ridley.

Hurts has shite on your team twice.

Twice.

There will always be somebody who is the reason Hurts is playing well. It's because his OL is awesome or his RBs are awesome or his defense is awesome or his WRs are offense or his OC is awesome.

Luckily, he gives zero fricks.

You make good points. Because he is the QB, IMO, Hurts is still the most important as well as the almost transcendent intangibles he brings. I think he is a bit overrated escaping the rush, he is not quick, but he is a better passer than many think.

Yes, Ridley runs great routes and has amazing quickness in and out of his cuts, he also has great speed, elusiveness and hands. His only shortcomings are his size and frame. I'm surprised he hasn't been injured, especially because he a very good blocker and will stick his nose in. He is an underrated player, maybe an Antonio Brown type at the next level.

Ridley beat MSU, have not watched enough Bama games to make a full season judgement though.

Hurts is a very good college QB in Bama's offense, Ridley is an elite level reciever and will shine at the3 next level, no shame for Hurts in that.

Ridley is a difference maker now, but will thrive at the next level because of the passing mentality of the NFL. It's finally nice to see jalen getting respect from the other fanbases for a change as well.

I would argue you are wrong. We are loaded at WR and at quarterback we would have to plug in a true freshman.

Ridley is our best WR, but if we didn't have him, Hurts would have another talented #1 read that he threw the ball to 43% of the time.

It equally as nice to finally see him get respect from his own fan base.

I'll agree that Ridley is better at his position. Maybe.

But nobody on Offense is more important than the guy who makes the decisions with the ball in his hands every play.
