Maybe a miracle happens and all these young receivers being thrown in from all the injuries will shock me and look like they've been playing several years. Do miracles happen? I hope so, otherwise even our much improved O-line will be facing 9 in the box. Bless their hearts.

We broke their 28 game winning streak 6-3.

They were coming off back to back national titles headed for a 3rd. Brw, Georgia can thank us for that because they got the nod and won the title.

The stars would have to align completely for us to win simply because of Bama's defense.

I'll settle for a hard fought close game whichever way it goes.]

And no more injuries on either side.

What's the prognosis for your injured wide recievers?

You just jinxed us. Watch two of the new raw receivers go down in the first half lol.

Unless a miracle happens, all 4 are still out with 3 done for the season.

I would be very surprised to see any of them play. Mullen wants them for maybe for the last two games and bowl game, IF they could even play then.

Two are 50/50, but why risk them against Bama's defense and making things worse.

ETA: this season is great but we have much more riding on the next two seasons, so it's better to look at the long haul at this point. We return almost everyone next year.

I seriously doubt this is Dan’s mentality...

It will be a close game. Alabama's going to have to start putting in equipment managers at LB soon.

We have a really good team man but you shouldn't abandon all hope. We are down to third string linebackers and Minkah is banged up a bit. Our DL is good but not the invincible unit it was in 15 and 16. I expect a win but I doubt it is the anal rape that it was last year. Good luck.

Your 3rd string LB's are probably all 5 star recruits.

Of course but experience is lacking. Dylan Moses is a future All American but he hasn't logged a lot of snaps and that is concerning against a dual threat quarterback especially with rpo plays.

I think MSU has a salty front 7 if our secondary continues to improve. It's our lack of receivers I worry about. We both know if you punt all day that any opposing offense is going to win that. Lets hope we both stay healthy, you have a title chance and we have a chance to make a good bowl.

We just don’t have the horses in this horse race. Wish there was a way to take the loss and focus on beating Arky and Ole Miss and finishing the regular season 9-3.

Historically Alabama has beaten us twice because we are so banged up. Wish we could play them earlier in the season, but we’d have to get LSU or Auburn late so I don’t know if it’s any better

Historically Alabama owns everyone. We used to play them well back in the day because we had defense and got up for those guys. I do believe we finally made a good defensive hire who might hang around and he is deffinately starting to put together a good D. But you can't beat Alabama if you can't pass.

Our O-Line has 3 freshmen who have gotten solid and now understand what they are doing. That is a huge plus for sure. If only we had receivers. Look how even Umass stacked the box until we just wore them down and then ran the ball all over them. Can't do that on Bama. WR need to step up tomorrow and fight for the pass to make Bama respect that part of the game. End of story!
