I’m normally fortunate enough to sit in a part of the stadium where I have a lot more room than that. Yesterday was the first time I’ve sat on the bleachers in a long time. I don’t care if there is a waiting list a mile long for season tickets. Bryant Denny either needs to widen the sits, lowering capacity, or have something that if you can’t walk through you must buy two seats.

Agreed. I mean what is the point of them? People wave them when we’re on defense like it’s doing something. Cowbells are annoying as hell too but at least they make noise.

I was thinking the same thing (i.e. what does it do?). An older lady was sitting directly in front of me, and she kept shaking that thing, and it was especially distracting when the play was right of us. (I was only 21 rows up so the view to the field was more straight ahead.) Sometimes she was the only one within a 30 foot radius of her that was raising that thing. But I was sure she's been doing it for 30-40 years so I didn't dare say a word.

I’m assuming the one downvote was a fat guy. I have nothing against fat people as long as it doesn’t effect me. My wife and I bought tickets. We were surrounded on both sides by two fat people who are LITERALLY unable to fit in the designated spot so we’re forced to squeeze the entire game. Even standing was a problem. Then they actually had the nerve to look at us annoyed that they didn’t have room to fully stretch out and I made a smart arse comment. Wife had to basically stand in front of me when everyone was standing. If there has ever been a full row of fat people at Bryant Denny (which I’m sure there has been) there is no way everyone has a place to sit.

Make Bryant Denny Great again, mandate two ticket minimum for fat people!!
