I was impressed with how well Orgeron had LSU prepared

LSU had a better game plan and they executed it to perfection when it mattered most.

Orgeron is proving to be a really good hire for y'all. Perfect fit for LSU.

I also highly underestimated Brosette and Burrows. Their game stats aren't great, but they came through and made great plays at the most clutch times. We choked at the clutch times. But now if Burrows can manage to start completing over 50% of his passes then y'all will really have something going on offense

A close loss like that is hard to swallow when there's so many single mistakes that could have won the game for Auburn had we executed that single play better. But this one doesn't have me pissed like last year, this win is all y'all. Overall, Orgeron and this LSU team are pretty likeable (despite the best efforts of y'all obnoxious arse fans ) so best of luck to y'all the rest of the way, please don't choke and make this loss look bad for us

Now, here's to another 50 point curb stomping of Arkansas this weekend to cleanse my palate

Auburn seemed to choke a lot last night. Weird.

Honestly, Auburn is still in great shape to make a run. Glad we got out with the W.

The man has a massive chip on his shoulder. He's proven he isn't incompetent but he's yet to show me anything special. They barely beat an Auburn team that, for all intents and purposes, should be 1-2 right now. I still feel like Washington was the better team in that game on September 1. Auburn will finish the season 8-4 or 7-5. Miami will likely finish their season 9-3 or 8-4.

Yup, and now that we got that out of our system we'll probably go out and play another flawless game against MSU and blow y'all out for the third year in row

You know what bowljackson, that is the type of statement that reinstates my respect for you. Very classy move on your behalf. It was a great game between two great teams. Always has been, always will be. Best of luck the rest of the year.

I agree with this. I’m not even really upset because it was an awesome game to watch, and either team could have won. AU still gonna wreck shite going forward

I still think Auburn is the better team but we will find out soon enough as Georgia plays both teams this season.

Both teams played hard, had some breaks, and had some misfortunes. Could have gone either way.
It is only in the SEC West that teams have to live or die by the above sentence week in and week out. Makes me cringe that LSU would have dropped below Okie St and possibly even Central Florida had we missed that field goal. The SEC West would be the best division in football even without Bama, which is crazy.

Yeah, I won't lie I still feel like we would win that game 7/10 times. Not to take anything away from LSU or their win though, they're better than I thought.
