He takes Bama's DC just before the 2 biggest games of the season. And I heard he wants Pruitt to skip the playoff games and start the HC job asap. Goddamn thats low even for Phat Phil.

I don’t know if you’re being sarcastic or not, but expecting the guy who took your head coaching position to start getting the mess that was left by Jones cleaned up and start recruiting as soon as possible doesn’t seem even the slightest bit over demanding.

Uhm...child...when you make a grown up decision to take another job paying you millions of dollars, you have to be willing to give up the old toy to play with the new one, immediately, if asked.

Is wanting a coach to finish the job he started before he goes to his next job to much to ask these days?

I don’t think it’s unreasonable for Pruitt to ask if he could finish out the season with Bama, but I also don’t think it’s unreasonable for Fulmer to say he would like him to start focusing on the head coaching job he has accepted. Fulmer is worried about UT’s football program, not your dynasty. I think either position is reasonable to take, but I think UT has to be Pruitt’s decision if Fulmer presses him for it.

Just the beginning too as Phil has Power again. Next he'll have a kilo of smack planted in Saban's home.

Yes it is and it bit us in the arse last year with the OC time split between the two jobs. If he takes it he needs to go now. Saban and Lupoi get in the room together and figure out a game plan. This isn't rocket science or a reason to melt. I just hope the dirty bastard doesn't screw with our recruiting in the way out the door like h did when he went to FSU. That's it.

You're a clown if you think it's reasonable to leave your team in the playoffs for a new job. Would you expect an NFL OC in the playoffs that accepts a new job to just up and leave and say "frick it, who cares about a super bowl?"

I don’t know what he did to FSU, but he would be insane to not target at least some of the truckload of five stars you guys bring in every single year.

That's different. You don't recruit in the pros with a recruiting date on dec 20. Not the same job. That said I don't like their time split. IF Tosh Lupoi can handle the job. I'll have to trust Saban knows that answer I'd just rather him take the job now.

Man, how old are you and how many jobs have you either recruited for or been recruited to? You’re talking about millions of dollars from a different university that is worried about their program, not letting Pruitt help Saban put another trophy in the case at Alabama.

Now, if Fulmer thinks it can help Pruitt recruit to be able to claim he helped Saban with a title, maybe he lets him stay. But you have to be the most misinformed man in the room to believe this has merit:

If that is what your new employer asks, then I absolutely expect that. Especially for the kind of money being offered.

Pickings are slimmer this year. I don't need a number one class. I'm not that fan but we need DB and DL something aweful.
