I thought of this today, but I have to thank Auburn for beating the Tide last year

With the rest playing out how it did, there would have been a big debate about 12-1 Oklahoma or 11-1 Alabama and who had the better loss. There is a very legitimate chance a (1) LSU vs. (4) Alabama matchup could have occurred at the Peach Bowl had that scenario played out. LSU may've won again, who knows, but the whole BS about having to beat a Bama team twice in one year when one is hard enough would've been a much bigger obstacle to overcome than the pathetic defense OU put out there.
So, Auburn, you had a hand in this:
Thank you.

Meh no Tua and our Defense showed up post Ole Miss
Same results maybe Joe doesn’t throw 7TDs before sitting the last quarter.

They got destroyed on their field with their "gEnErAtIoNaL" QB.
I think Mac "Boohoo" Jones on a neutral field looks very similar to Oklahoma vs LSU.
Heck, Jalen was ahead of BooHoo Jones at A1abana, and we saw how he did.
Not good!

Small sample size since Mac Jones only started a few games. But Mac Jones and Burrow did play 1 common opponent, Auburn.
QBR's:
Mac Jones - 89.8
Joe Burrow - 85.0
Mac Jones also threw for more yards against Auburn than Burrow, scored 3 more TDs, etc.
I think you scared.

Lol LSU would have murdered Bama in a rematch with Mac Jones at QB. We hadn't really even peaked as a team until December.

Does that include the 2 TDs he threw to Auburn?
TIA

.......in a losing effort.
You’d make a good Ole Miss or Faggie fan. Your “moral victory” game is top notch.

You’ve played hard since last night.

If he was so great, why did Saban trot out Tua "on one leg" as Alabama fans like to constantly remind all of us?

We would’ve curb stomped bama in a rematch with or without Tua. I wrote a letter to Greg Sankey requesting that he let Bama represent the East in the SECCG and get the 4 seed so we could beat that arse two more times.

We would have beaten the shite out of a Mac Jones Bama led team regardless baw. Save the accolades.

Even if tide would have beat Aubie. Lsu would have routed the tide a second time as well in playoffs.

Good team often lose rematch games like that but great teams rarely do. LSU was a great team this year.

I actually think Bama loses by more with Tua. He always breaks something in big games.

No need to suck Auburn’s dick. Auburn did Bama a favor not us.

While you’re at it, thank GusShortBus for blowing it once again in Baton Rouge.

I don't know what you were so worried about. Our defense couldn't stop a cold this year. Michigan came perilously close to putting up 400 yards of offense on us in the Citrus Bowl. Michigan!
The only reason why we pulled away from them and that game wasn't a shoot out is because the Wolverines, inexplicably, stopped running the football. Our DL was getting out-physicaled by their OL at the point of attack for the first 30 minutes. For whatever reason they went away from that and that turned out to be the football game.

You replaced Mac Jones' L with 'etc.' What are you going to replace your credibility with?

Well there you have it. Bama fan just proved Mac Jones was better than Joe Burrow.
