Not only that, but it was during a Covid fluke season and on top of that, they had to get lucky.
I mean, had LSU played Max Johnson, as opposed to TJ Finley, LSU would have won that game last season easily.
I mean, all their vaunted high-powered antiquated Jimbo Fisher pro style offense could generate against the worse LSU defense in it's storied history is a measly one single touchdown. While that amazing offense generated a whopping 267 yards of total offense in that game. Which is the same exact amount of total yards LSU's offense generated with the horrible TJ Finley playing for most of the game.
A&M sure in the hell didn't deserve to get into the college football playoffs last season and they certainly were way overrated. Just like they are way overrated this preseason.
