I do find it odd that they're mad at everyone except the guy who was caught on tape discussing paying for recruits.

Could have been a damn strong offer of candy bars, and it would have still been illegal.
It seems the logical subject of anger would be Will Wade himself, who, at best, has severely tarnished the reputation of the entire University due to his own recklessness in conversation.
Instead, we're angry with his bosses and everyone else not named Will Wade. Very odd.

They do have some that seem rational....but when they bring up the fact that's it's obvious what Wade was talking about, they get pelted with rocks.

It's hard to believe there are any morons that seriously think Wade was talking about anything other than paying those recruits.

One of their posters started a thread about Wade not meeting with AD. they shut him down immediately.

I think some of y'all miss the main point from LSU fans. The majority are in agreement that we paid players. What we are outraged about is there are 50+ schools and other coaches that have been caught on tape talking about the same things that Will Wade is being suspended for.
It won't be long until the public eye is off Wade and on to the next new leaks.
Give it a few more days.

I've seen similar posts dozens of times, and almost all of them reference teams like Alabama. The problem with this is that Collin Sexton was paid for choosing a specific financial advisor, and it had nothing to do with recruiting him to Alabama, much less the head coach being taped discussing the payoff. Several others of those schools listed involve the same issue that brings Alabama to the discussion. Very, very few involve recordings from staff members discussing paying recruits to sign.
If other coaches are on tape discussing the same things Will Wade did, they should and will be suspended or fired as well.

I’m more of a innocent until proven guilty type of guy. If it can’t be proven he payed our players, then what basis does anyone have?
If it can be proven, the money shouldn’t be hard to find, right?
Example A) 900k house for Zion Williamson’s family. I’m sure his parents afforded that home.

The truth of matter is 50% of fanbase hates Alleva with a passion. Hated the original hire because of his lacrosse background and Duke shyt. Hate the way he handled firing Les Myles, hate the way he handled the football coach hiring process by swinging and missing his top three choices (after firing Myles), hate him for hiring Coach O (eventhough that kind of worked out but accidents happen), and now his Basketball Coach hire is backfiring on him.
I don't care for the dude but I think its F. King's issue not Alleva problem. Alleva's just a hired yes man for the president. I agree with the Rant that Alleva is at the root of the issue but supporting Will Wade to get at Alleva is an odd way of getting there.
