And it got me thinking, both were 5* guys but Morris joined the group that left. Wright is a top 10 pick and Morris is forgotten. Same with Eric Grey, dude cost himself money going to OU. And Henry Totooto? No draft buzz. Just amazing how these things work out.

I believe he is the only player in history to lose to Bama as a Vol and to lose to VOLS as a bammer

He's the ultimate loser in that rivalry history for sure.

Morris is going to get drafted he was barely anything at UT. Gray played his best ball at OU with a shared backfield his problem is he runs a 4.7 he’s not going to get drafted high with thag kindnof speed . Wayne should have stayed one more year .

He started 12 games as a Freshman and was Freshman All-SEC and a 24/7 True Freshman All-American. In 2 years, he played in 22 games and made 19 starts. He bailed when UT canned Pruitt, and he likely would have been a starter in Heupel's offense...but he didn't hang around to find out.

I remember as well. You and all the Vols were running around here telling everyone how Proot was the new stud coach in the SEC and you were going to rule the East…

Prove it. I created this account in 2016 as a failsafe when another board was dying but didn’t start posting here until Covid hit and the board I migrated to got to liberal. I wasn’t even here when the Pruitt mistake was made. I was here for the downfall. The best I hoped for with Pruitt was defensive scheme (finding true difference maker DTs was killing the 4/3) and stability (I wanted the bad searches to end and was glad to see Fulmer at AD).

You might not have picked up on this but I’m generally on the more pessimistic side of Vols stuff.

He cost himself money by leaving, did Grey get drafted? That’s another one that made a mistake leaving.

Should've been like Darnell - then he could've gone 10th.

Cades time in Athens coupled with injuries just harmed his future. Those wasted years and too many injuries.

Very similar. He went from day 2 pick and national champion to round 5 and crappy vol season. Dumb kid.

What hurt Cade is that he never got to play his position. UGA and UT shuffled him where needed.
