If they shut down college football this year because of the virus, there will be riots in the streets!

I think we’d have bigger problems than just college football if the virus got to that point.

Did anyone suggest this or are you just creating hypothetical situations to worry about?

The NCAA tourney would have the bigger issue, not football.

It'll be gone or we'll all be dead by football season.

This thing will be gone in a month. Much less by Summer or Fall.

My hopes for a 2020 season are fading fast. I'm hearing a 2.3% fatality rate. Coronavirus is highly contagious. Infected victims become contagious well before they exhibit symptoms. The US is particularly vulnerable because there are so many people who have no health insurance. We need to get very lucky.

Nobody suggested it other than the OP.

The reason these virus/colds spread so much more in the winter months is because the hot and humid months don't really allow it to spread. Cold dry air allows it to spread and stay alive/afloat in the air for longer periods of time and hot/humid months have the opposite effect.

Although I guess it's possible it could spread towards south america for the summer, then come back in time for bowl seasons next year, it's highly unlikely.

Do you read, or listen to, the news. I am willing to bet that there is no football in 2020.

Leftist media has nothing to do with it, unless you're suggesting that liberals are more likely to be scientists than propane salesman, which is true.

I'm guessing that GT will end up a lot worse off than most SEC & ACC Schools if the virus spreads that much
