I only remember one good season for them. 2011. Too bad it was when LSU and Bama were #1 and #2. Every other season has sucked for them.

But they almost beat A&M last year, doesn't that make them good?

If BP had only been careful. It's funny how one single person can alter the entire future of a program. His side piece torpedoed a program for a decade.... at least. In retrospect, Arkansas should have slapped that dude on the wrist. Ya'll paid a helluva price.

Petrino's arrangement with his side piece was against Arkansas law. if he wasn't fired, there would have been lawsuits, and the University would not have had a leg to stand on. Probably would have brought the NCAA in sniffing, too.

They were good in 2010 as well. And in 2006 under HDN when they won the west. Also won the west in 2002.

It was my initial reaction upon hearing the news. Buy the man a new motorcycle, find him a new skank to bone, and let's roll!

Look at what Mr. Jeff Integrity Long has going on at Kansas. I didn't care then, and don't care now that Petrino lied to Long. But when you consider the legal, and possible NCAA trouble that keeping him would have created, Petrino had to go.

What NCAA rules were broken? Why would firing him had canceled out these incoming lawsuits?

These narratives are nothing but fairy tales. I read a saying today. It goes something like this:

"Tell a lie once and it's a lie. Tell a lie a thousand times and it becomes the truth."

Arkansas flushed their football program down the toilet for PR and PC crap, and so Jeff Long could further his career with the Yankee white collar tea sippers. No other program in the entire country would purposefully self destruct like this.

Define good. I know Arkansas has a football team. That’s about the best I can do.

We can't really know that until we have the NCAA up our arse for some undetermined amount of time, can we? Who wants that?

Because that's often what happens with public employees. Had they not fired him, all the public employees not making millions per year would have had motive.

What narrative? The facts? The way the skank was getting her money was against the law. I didn't pull that out of my arse. Look it up.
