He's been calling Paul for close to 20 years off and on, usually at the same time every day.
He's a good dude but he has a mullet and looks about like you'd expect someone who calls Finebaum for 20 years to look like:

And Finebaum often complains about the national image that fans have of people in the state of Alabama. His call screeners dictate who gets on air, so at the end of the day, he is the problem. And his regular callers have a private number to call in on guaranteeing they get on the air.

Dude is a clown. Every call is the same routine on how Bama is collapsing. He likes to call Tua fragile yet he looked fine dropping 6 TDs on the barn’s forehead.

I heard him on 740AM Sports Radio one morning while I was driving to visit a relative at Baptist East hospital. Longshore got the best of him or Auburn was having a bad week because his call-in was fiery and very argumentative to say the least.
So as I walk into the hospital entrance I hear this guy on his cellphone loudly cussing someone on like an angry sailor. I looked his picture up on Finebaum's website and sure enough, it was I-Man/Rusty (IMan on the Finebaum show, Rusty local Montgomery radio).
Dude was very upset, and somebody got shitty HVAC service from him that day. That's all I got.

I’ve tried but I just don’t get it. Finebaum seems to have as much dead air as anything and even it is more entertaining than most of the show. At least when he has guests they speak. Paul is like a snail that takes ten minute breaks between sentences. And his callers are simply a complete waste of time. For the love of Pete somebody tell me what I’m missing.

You're missing Neal Vickers, Birmingham sports radio, Mike Shula, Tommy Tuberville, Mike Price, etc. Basically everything that made the show actually good before it became the waste of time it is now.
