I know of a team that has very few skins on the wall (as in not even a division won in over 20 years) that will brag about anything just to post an accomplishment.
Happens a lot. And GOOD FOR THEM, actually. Proud of them.
Prolly hootin about they are the big 23.

If you're talking about Michigan, I'm not sure they have won a NY6 bowl in the CFP era. I might be wrong....

I think that is why the OP said it was done by an Ohio State fan, because Michigan has not won a NY6 bowl.
