Was obviously too busy watching the epic beatdown of LSU in real time but wow, Sark has Texas looking good in the games where they've had Mullet Man.

Is Texas better in Sark's second year than A&M is in Jimbo's 5th year?

Sark is a legitimate coach who has an innovative mind, Jimbo is a salesman.

You need to worry about Brian Kelly! He is LSU HC that got the team to be too loose this year. Not a good look on his part about that star LB not getting enough playing time.

Sark was proven to be a great coach at Washington, his failure at USC was due to him becoming an alcoholic. As long as he’s sober, he will succeed at Texas. Having said that, Austin isn’t exactly the ideal city for maintaining sobriety…

It’s not that Texas is good, we’re just THAT BAD. The cupboard is bare at OU. We need players that fit the new scheme bigly.

No he wasn't. He's never been a great HC at any stop that he's been at to this point.

That WAS an epic beat down!

Not sure whether seven win Steve has the Texas team better than the A&M team or not. But after Saturday, they certainly look better than LSU.

Washington 5 years prior to Sarkisian

1-10
2-9
5-7
4-9
0-12 ranked 117th/119 in offense and 116th in defense

5 years with Sarkisian

5-7
7-6
7-6
7-6
9-4

Washington was in the toilet when he took over, how is that not a successful coach?

Fwiw Michigan State 5 years prior to Saban

8-3-1
3-8
5-6
6-5
5-6

5 years with Saban

6-5-1
6-6
7-5
6-6
10-2

Ewers is good but that Oklahoma team looked really pathetic. Like worse than Kansas during the years they could only beat Texas pathetic.

Yet you don't seem to be worrying about Elijah Drunktitz.

We just arent very good. The QB room here is bad. As good of defensive coach as i think BV is, the talent is either too young to be consistent, or the leftovers from a AG defense that was just as bad. The last few years, the QB play has been our saving grace (the only one LR truly recruited was CW) and we obviously dont have that this year. Im just hoping we can get to .500.

The rant: "Texas beats Alabama with Ewers."
Also the rant: "Texas isn't good, OU is just that bad."

I'm starting to wonder if the rant just doesn't like Texas very much...

Texas and A&M struggling for so long and not even one time in their history having met as top 10 teams simultaneously (let alone top 5)… just proves my point… Texas talent is severely over rated…

Yet we keep hearing the same lies for decades “they have access to the best talent”…. bullshite the don’t… 1939 folks… wake up and smell the coffee.
