I live in the KC area and can confirm this sentiment. Mizzou feels and acts entitled now that they're in the SEC even though they have done nothing since entering the league that is noteworthy. I think most of the real SEC fans are still questioning why they are part of the conference and what they bring to the table. I guess it's a moot point....we offered an invitation, they accepted, we're stuck with them.
Having said that, it was Bill Self that put an end to the KU - Mizzou rivalry.

If you know the history a bit, then you can really appreciate what a savage troll this was. No way a school gets away with this these days.
Probably the only amusing thing Mizzou has ever done, but it was pretty good.

Missouri was fortunate time ran out. Kansas spotted you 21 early. KU played way better toward the end to fall just short 36-28.

A quick side note. If you actually read the op, he intentionally brought us up, so yeah, we entered this thread. This is no surprise because he actively seeks us out in threads and game day threads to do some trolling. Not a big deal because I enjoy messing with him from time to time. For the most part, the rivalry has been reduced to a very slow burn, I know this because I live in the middle of the old war zone and it's nothing like it use to be on both sides. We have pretty much moved on and enjoy where we are at now. Just don't take what this troll says at face value, because most of what he says is just troll crap and not reality.
