I have been all around the SEC and in BR around other school’s fans...

I have literally never had a problem with any except one... I’ve seen combined tailgates and have actually enjoyed being around them...it was always a lot of fun....
Bama, no problem, very nice people
AU, no problem, very nice people
aTm, same thing, fans were very nice
MSU and OM, no problem
Arkansas, ditto
UGA, same
SC, nice people
Tennessee, all good here
Vandy... the few that were there were cool
Kentucky, never been there but in BR they were nice
Mizzou...haven’t had the pleasure
I live in the mtns close to Clemson and their fans are cool as shite also.
Which leads me to one...
Florida...your fans are a cesspool. Last time I went to Gainesville and BHG, I swore I would never go back or I’d end up in prison...
The real life fans are nothing like the morons on this board. Wtf do you miserable people come from?

Most OTB are far too poor to go to games. Gainesville is genuinely the only place in the conference where the match going populace are as dumb as the posters OTB

I’ve had problems with trashy Bama fans and their fricktarded bandwagon fans. But the lifers and alumni are pretty nice people. Always down to kill a fifth with me. UF and UGA always bring the party and the sloots, so I have no complaints there either. I really don’t remember any SEC fans that really gave me a hard time outside of individual trash.

Agreed. Gators are garbage. The reason is that Florida isn’t southern. Missouri isn’t really either but they’re at least partially Southern and mixed with bland but generally inoffensive midwesterners. Florida on the other hand is a disgusting, obnoxious mixture of Northeasterners and Cubans.

I don’t remember Mizzou when they came down a couple of years ago. They were there, but I don’t remember them being involved really. They kept to themselves.

Florida north of Orlando is the South imo. The panhandle is Southern, Jacksonville is a Southern city and the area between those two is like South Georgia but trashier.

This just isn’t true, most Cubans are Miami fans. We do have a large amount of northern folk however.

Sure but just because Gainesville is located in a particular area doesn’t mean it’s where the kids or fans come from. You think like that because in SC there’s some truth to it but think about Georgia, UGA is not kids from Northeast Georgia.

I truly hate to disappoint you. But I’ve been to just about every SEC away game. I have encountered horrible fans at Mississippi State, and worse, Tennessee where they threw a can of beer in front of us and it hit a Vols lady who seemed to be in her 60s. It was thrown from the student apartments. I’m not here to criticize anyone or to put down fans of other schools. But these are my assessments.

1- If you're cool, people are usually cool back. Some good shite talking but nothing serious

I get along with just about anyone... I have never had a problem except Fla. I gave up after three consecutive visits.

I’ve only had problems with ole miss fans. The second they win a game, they go full retard and start dry bumping the ground. I’m not even exaggerating, I remember being at a LSU Ole Miss game, walking back, and a couple of frat stars were literally dry humping the ground as LSU fans passed.

I had a bottle of jack hit the fence on field level between the old end zone bleachers and the sideline opposite the press box side before OM closed it in. Didn’t hit me, it it hit the fence and there was a cop right there that saw it.
I don’t hold a fan base accountable because of one stupid fan. We all have them...
But at Fla, it was fans above the wall on the sidelines, it was non stop shite being thrown.

Every place I've been has been great. Granted, I know people in most of the cities I visited so that made things easier, but as long you're nice to people, the majority of the time they'll be nice back.

Every school has its share of dickwads. I’ve never had problems except Fla. I’m not dissing Fla fans but, Jesus Christ, it was like that whole section above the wall was throwing shite. Four elderly people who were Fla fans who were sitting with us were getting hit with freaking cups full of ice, nit seemed. I told the cop and he did absolutely nothing. Moving the visitor’s section from under that wall would solve a lot of problems...
I remember before Fla had expanded, Florida Field was kinda like a horse shoe. Back then, the visitors sat in the end zone and there was no problem...
I really hope that every visiting fan that comes to LSU has a great time and safe travels...
