Max just needs to play better than this, which just about anyone should be able to do. Jimbo didn't want to upset King's daddy (Longview head coach). He literally started the worst QB on his roster out of politics.

This move is great for everyone. A&M will go 8-4 and won't be tempted to spend the $80MM to shitcan him because "next year will be better."

King is not their only problem according to the quote of one player. He implied most of the team had no commitment to the team. Maybe they need to up the NIL $$$ for players to encourage them to play. That should fix things.

Most SEC teams aren't as good as App State offensively. They're kinda sluggish, in comparison, tbh.

Sound like King knew how to get rid of the ball quick to avoid pressure. Rest assured Max Johnson won't do that.

I just watched a replay of 8-4 and App State. As others have said, it's way deeper than the QB. SEC caliber DLs and LBs are gonna eat the OL lunch. SEC caliber OLs are gonna shove that "wrecking crew" defense all over the field.
What makes me say this? Because App State did it on both sides of the ball. And without their #1 RB. And that's not a knock on App State.

Jordan Rodgers' segment tomorrow will reveal the change will not matter. S&M does not do anything imaginative and nothing to stress the defense.

They'll be better but things won't be fine. Max is by far a better passer than King. However, he holds the ball and doesn't like to throw into tight windows.

I've seen at least three Aggies post some version of this comment, the only problem is they keep directing it to other fanbases.
