I mean yes, it's a college town 
For a guy who was previously in Los Angeles and Seattle I'd imagine Tuscaloosa was pretty small and lifeless outside of the University.

Maybe Texas coaches should stop talking about Alabama on the booster circuit.

For coaches Saban pretty much makes you spend the night in the offices and on the recruiting trail.
Coaches don't know anything about Tuscaloosa outside the football complex. For everyone else it's a fun college town.
Although Kiffin seemed to find his fair share of fun in T-town. That's where Joey Freshwater was born. For him Ol' Colony Golf Course isn't just for golfing.

Austin is a cool town but unfortunately it’s becoming a massive homeless encampment. I guess Sark and visit them on off days. Might keep him away from the numerous bars and clubs.

How could he DO that? How could he say there isn’t anything to do but go to class and football? Well there you have it. That rules out any return to Alabama.

About as often as texas kids go to class. Bama is not Harvard but nobody will ever confuse the u of Texas with Harvard either....Texas fans fancy themselves in a much different light than the Real world does.

Not really. Texas hasn't had anything going on since Alabama took their manhood at the Rose Bowl in 2010. Alabama is probably all their is to talk about.
