Mostly Florida and somewhat Tenn dominated the 90s

2000 to 2010 a bit of a tie between the sec east and west

2010 to now...bama domination

2020-2030 ? I'm hoping the sec east catches up and I think they will...

Let's see...

Georgia 3 straight losses to SEC West teams in Atlanta
Mullen can't beat Kirby
Tennessee sucks
South Carolina sucks
Vandy/Kentucky lol

The beatings will continue

Doesnt matter what Mullen does against Kirby, beating the west while being in the top 2 in the east still helps the with what the OP is saying.

I know we lost to both of them the last time we played

The question is will the top of the East start winning more games against the West.

The top 3 of the West (Alabama, LSU & Auburn) are 16-6 in all games against the East in the last 3 seasons. Auburn was 2-5. If we swapped aTm for Auburn that would go to 19-2.

Top 3 of the East (UGA, UF & Missouri?) were 12-10 in the last 3.

ETA: Auburn was 2-5. Not 2-7.

UGA not going anywhere with talent Kirby is assembling
Fla will be Fla competitive every year, can they take the next step with Mullen
Tenn Pruitt is making strides, upgrading talent, still need stability at QB
USCe and Vandy likely new coaches unless COVID keeps them around another season
UK has been impressive under Stoops - how long before he goes to a better Power 5 job
Mizzou is the wild card - see if Drinkwitz can do anything

2 losses could have gone either way and of course you leave out the '17 SECC

Mullen can't beat Kirby

So what? Coach O is 2-2 vs Mullen

Uk finished ranked 12th in '18.When was the last time OM,MSU and Arky sniffed a top 15 fnish? 2015?

Ask Auburn about the "beatings" 0-5 vs the
East lately.

Not really.
Tenn wont suck anymore and Florida will be dangerous, but not dominating with Mullen.

That’s about it though.
Georgia will decline.

Not really

I think the east has a better record against the west in 2 out of the last 3 years.

No evidence of that.
Actually, the evidence shows the other way.
But who cares about facts.

Nah.

2019: 7-7 (7-8 including postseason)
2018: 9-5 (9-6 including postseason)
2017: 3-11 (4-12 including postseason)

Like I posted earlier, this is the issue for the East right now:

quote:

The top 3 of the West (Alabama, LSU & Auburn) are 16-6 in all games against the East in the last 3 seasons.

quote:

Top 3 of the East (UGA, UF & Missouri?) were 12-10 in the last 3

Throw in 2 national titles for the West, and it's even worse.

Thanks for the correction on that.
This does appear to be a trend that the east gets back to being more competitive.

And 2 other west schools not named Bama also have multiple SEC titles in that span too.

That doesn't make the division better. It makes the top team better.

Seriously? You want to start swapping out teams to make things look better?

Dude. Do head to head east verse west.

ETA: Auburn was 2-5. Not 2-7.
And 0-5 in their last 5 games. Look. We know the west is better. But the gap has closed somewhat in the last 2-3 years.
Will it continue to close? Who knows. The west has been great the last 10 years for sure, though.
