I never had a problem understanding him. I still cannot understand Mountain Talk in the northern Georgia area.

I've been in BR since 2000 and still think the area is more redneck influenced than Cajun.
FTR, several down the bayou Cajuns turned their single shrimp boats into supply offshore rigs and became billionaires. They may sound dumb to some but quite the opposite. I personally know some marsh ranchers who never wear anything other the khakis or jeans but when its time for board meetings where their millions are invested have custom made Italian suits.

I know millionaire government contractors who wear nothing but jeans, except to church, of course. In fact, the most successful person I know wears overalls almost everyday.

He might be hard to understand, but at least he makes sense. Les made your head hurt trying to figure out what he was talking about. Needed the Les Miles edition of the Rosetta Stone.
