It's not just Coach talk, it's his cajun heritage & culture. Back when Ron Guidry, from Cajun country in S.W. La., was pitching for the Yankees when Yogi was catching. First game in spring training, Yogi walked out to talk to Guidry, and after only a minute or less, Yogi turned to the dug out, waving his arms, and yelled" what the hell is he saying. I cann't understand

I spent some time in BR and met a lot of folks from the Bayou, and heard several different accents and dialects and what nots. I understand every word he says.I know people down there who are much harder to understand(Hell, I know people here who are harder to understand than Coach O). Still, it is fun to make fun of his accent. LSU fans might as well roll with it. It is like making fun of Saban's height, it is so obvious and it will happen.

FTR, I went to high school with a guy just like Adam Sandler in The Waterboy, except he played accordion not football. I think that he is a 64 year old virgin these days. He did get signed by Apple Records and got to tour England the summer he was 16.

See above. I'm dead serious... I found it easier to understand in the lower pitch. I typically understand about 90% of what he says... it's just a funny trope at this point. The video just happened to be extra amusing.
