I think they will honestly. Coaching staff this year will be such an upgrade over last, jury still out on Pittboss obviously but both coordinators should be good. Will catch a poorly coached team sleeping.

The problem is they never did with Chad. He told them that he wouldn't be here if you guys were any good.
So that struck a nerve with the team. Only an idiot would say that. The team wanted Chad gone from the first day. The Twitter reactions of his firing were from good riddance to you reap what you sow. Chad was poison and he had to go.

I think our talent is a little better than we realize, just shite coaching didn't let it show.

How do you go from being blown out by North Texas and then have a double digit lead against Ole Miss in the same year?
How do you lose to San Jose State and and then make a game out of the A&M, Kentucky and Missouri games?
It certainly wasn't a talent problem but maybe it had to do with both coaching and team chemistry being complete arse.

The Hogs have much more talent than given credit. Morris' second class was pretty good but had zero coaching. Now that Arkansas has the best OC and DC combination in the SEC, things will change. It won't be dramatically, at least not at first but when Malik Hornsby takes over at QB, there's going to be many a DE and LB left in the dust when they take bad angles on the Texas 5A 100 meter state champion who runs under a 10.5 one hundred meters. Faster than McFadden. Can't wait until Malik is unleashed upon the SEC.

Missouri quarterback ended up get his foot caught on the artificial turf and he ended up getting surgery. That made me mad for Arkansas for not playing at the better stadium where the football field is a lot better shape! Shame on your administration for letting this happened!

Sam will get Arkansas back to being a bowl eligible team. He has a lot more enthusiasm than boring Bert and jackass Chad who thought too highly of his high school coaching, which is what we endured.
Sam pushing 60 means that he will have nothing to lose unlike younger coaches who don't have his resume and are more fearful of moving up the ladder with a program that is in a tough spot.
Sam wasn't a long term hire but a bandaid needed so that improvement could be done without another coaching interruption.
