after 2021, I don’t care if we ever win it again unless we’re on the bubble
this year we’re safely a top 8 seed
so getting rested and healthy for the real tournament is more important.

I’ve always felt it’s a big deal. I know Alabama hasn’t had success there recently but they have had some great runs there in years prior.

It all depends on what your postseason outlook is. If you know you're going to host then just basically shut it down. If you need some wins to improve your standing then go for it.

Some people get upset to hear it, but all the regular season is for is to get a national seed. I don’t really care or remember who wins the regular season or SEC tournament.

It's fun if you win it. It's important if you need it for the post season. Otherwise, the regular season championship is WAY more important.

I feel it's better to rest up. Unless as mentioned before,you are trying to improve stock for regionals.

It’s only a big deal when you haven’t had success in the postseason.. but once you win some games in Omaha, your perspective changes a little bit..

Most of the ncaa brackets are filled out before the conference tourney begins.. you might move your seed a little bit with a good showing. but I don’t think it changes the host teams very often.

It's pointless for the majority of teams. It might only help some bubble teams.

i'd like to be opposite Wake Forest side of the bracket.. so either play our way into a 2/3 or down to a 6/7 natty seed

Yes. I don’t care what I am doing, I want to win or at least be competitive. I would as a coach be mindful of getting my pitching set up for the regional.
