I can see why LSU hired Coach O, I actually like the guy.

I still think that firing Les Miles was extremely idiotic and the Coach O hire wasn't the best in the world but I think the man fits with LSU well. He loves the program and actually has emotional investment in his job. Whatever bad happens to that program, it won't be for lack of trying on O's part. Still might be a semi-shitty coach but he's my favorite outside of Nick.

He’s def not an X’s and O’s guy, but how many head coaches are these days? As in, they are absolute experts at multiple positions outside of their expertise.

So far, he’s been good for being in charge of our football program. Recruiting, managing coaches/players, letting coaches do their jobs and getting everybody on the same page.

He's great for our conference. USC wouldn't be in the shite their in if they'd named him the full-time HC years ago

Aleeva is looking pretty good currently.

Miles had to go. Good for 1 clock blunder a season

Yeahhh because big time Power 5 programs were lining up at the door in hopes of hiring Les Miles, right?

That's bullshite IMO. Our defensive line is as good as it is because of Coach O. He would not have made it as far as he has in his career without being an X's and O's guy.

Man, I love LSU and would try hard too if I was LSUs head coach. That still doesn’t make me qualified.

He’s exceeded my expectations so far this year, but the seasons far from over. If he can go 10-2 in the regular season, I’ll change my tune on him. If not, then why fire Miles?

You’re not qualified because you’re not a fricking football coach. Did you seriously just type that dumb shite?

O was average at Ole Miss but so is everyone else who coaches there.

He had USC on the right track but they let go of him, which was a mistake. O is a damn good coach and he’s going to prove all you haters wrong.

He's done better than I expected.

Not a bad stop-gap until Saban retires, and he's definitely shown he's not going to tank the program in the meanwhile.

This is so lazy. At least he's actually saying something that makes sense unlike Les speak.

I said an expert at many positions.

Coach O isnt filling in as an OC or DC anytime soon. Great DL coach, but limited to that.

If O is able to rise to the occasion this year, we will know what kind of coach he is. Right now, things are looking good and I am team #frickthem.
