He never beat A&M either. That means under Bert, Arkansas was guaranteed at least two conference losses a year.

Bert took the Arky gig to get out from under the thumb of Barry Alvarez at Wisconsin. He was wrong about how good the SEC is and paid the price for his poor judgment.

Ya there was a 1 point loss in there, but that was offset by the 52-0 outing, keeping the mov pretty healthy.
