LSU convincingly in the SEC Championship, I’m talking a 45-14 type score. Would the voters put bama in over LSU?

If Georgia wins then I’m assuming they would be in and LSU would have to hope for things to fall their way.

The debate wouldn’t even include Alabama in that scenario. They would be debating on whether or not to put LSU in over a PAC 12 champion.

1. Ohio State
2. Georgia/Clemson
3. Georgia/Clemson
4. Oregon or LSU

UGA can only put up 45+ on FCS opponents and I don’t see anyone holding LSU to less than 20 points this season.

Tigers win that matchup 38-28

Would the voters put an 11-1 team with 1 ranked win over a 12-1 team with 4 ranked wins who also beat the 11-1 team head to head?

Are some of yall retarded?

teams get in this order the committee has said as much

1) undefeated Power 5 champs
2) one loss Power 5 Champs
3) one loss non champs based on quality wins, losses, strength of schedule, "eye test"
4) haven't had to go that far yet so we will see.

so if LSU is a non champ it isn't getting in over a one loss power 5 champ...just is what it is.

Or Big 12

I still think they take the 1 loss conf champ, but at least lsu would also be 12-1, and not 11-1 so they would at least have a chance

There is only going to be one SEC team unless Oregon and Oklahoma lose again or Clemson loses. They will not sit a 1 loss P5 conference champion (unless it is for another 1 loss P5 conference champion)

The only argument is that the SEC championship is somewhat of a playoff game. The ONLY reason Bama got in two years ago is because Ohio state had 2 really bad losses.

The playoff committee are liars when they say they want the 4 best teams when they’ve proven they want the 4 most deserving. So judging by how things have gone since the playoff has been implemented they will try to include as many conference champs as possible unless they have more than 1 loss.
