I feel like ole miss would be like 5-6 and we would be 8-9. Would be an awesome game before the bye week.

Ole Miss will very likely be undefeated when they come to TS. I give us a 50/50 chance at winning the next two.

I'd say LSU would be close to top ten if we win the next 2.

Yes of course, but I think LSU goes 1-1 over the next two. No idea which way but both will be tough games.

Neither of Ole Miss’ games will catapult them. They would need other teams to lose to make headway.

LSU scoring a win over Tennessee would go a long way. Not sure if getting to the top 10 from #25 is all that likely though.

Well, we host Tenn this weekend, then go to Florida the weekend after before hosting OM.

If we win both (again, hypothetically) I’ve a hard time seeing a 6-1 LSU (with it’s only loss in week 1 by one point) not knocking on top 10.

We just haven’t looked great in 2 games (AU and FSU) and these aren’t top 25 teams. Even the MSU game started poorly. Even if we beat Tennessee and UF, I could see us losing out in the remaining games if we don’t get the passing game straight. That’s why we’ll top out at 15-20, IMO

Nah.

I’d say with a win over Tennessee we would be somewhere between 14-16, then beating Florida probably move to 11/12

Think it would be something like #6 Ole Miss vs #11 LSU.

Win that and we’d be the highest ranked 1 loss team

Maybe not top ten, but it would be really damn close. All depends on what happens with the teams in front of y'all really

Define knocking. Is 14 knocking, because I could absolutely see that.

If State beats Arkansas and UK the next two weeks which is very possible, they move up and we likely jump them based on the head to head win and strength of a Tenn win. Chances are a couple top ten teams lose in the next two weeks as well. It's all possible, but LSU has to play a lot better than they did vs Auburn to even consider this.

Ole Miss currently at 9.

I'm not sure LSU would be top 10 unless some other teams drop some games. 1-10 are all undefeated currently and 11-16 are one-loss teams. Probably more likely it would be a top 15 or 20 matchup.

I think 10-15 range is much more likely for LSU.

I'd say more like 25% personally.

Michigan 4 and Penn State 10 play in two weeks. Oklahoma State has TCU coming up. Lot of top 10 teams could lose.

I’m still trying to get my mind around the spreads on this game. If LSU goes 1-1 the next two games I have Ole Miss -3. If LSU goes 2-0 I have the Tigers -3. All of this assumes Ole Miss wins their next 2 and I can absolutely see us losing to a shitty Auburn team. I’ve seen it happen too many times

Ole Miss won't lose to Auburn. They're just not good enough to win in Oxford. It probably won't even be close.

In fact that team is probably going to quit after they get blown out this weekend.

Hypothetical:

I wake up tomorrow and can run a 4.2 forty and bench press400 lbs.

Will I have a chance to realize my dream of starting for the Dallas Cowboys?

Yes, I was thinking in the 12-14 neighborhood. The entire top 10 is undefeated as of now — that’s going to start changing quickly as everyone is in conference play.
