Hurts to Florida would be scary for the rest of the SEC.

Hurts should go to Florida.
Florida is on the up. Mullen produces QBs. He will have his best year yet at Florida, as well.
Given what Mullen could do with Franks, just imagine what he could do with Hurts.
Instant national title contender if Florida has Hurts.
Watch out, SEC!

Not happening, not sure adding a transfer QB is the way to go.

Absolutely. Hopefully he goes somewhere else. Like Hawaii.

That would be a home run for Mullen

Arkansas needs him desperately. Unfortunately, Hurts doesn't appear interested in the UofA at the moment. With Hurts at quarterback next year, Arkansas could go back to a bowl game.

He would be a great mentor for the next crop of QBs that we have. I would rather play Hurts than Franks and over our freshmen QBs. Neither Jones will be ready this season and I can't deal with another year of Franks. So insert Hurts. Instant winner at QB and great mentor for the young QBs.
Franks can transfer to LSU.

Hurts at either Auburn or FL is a scary proposition with the offenses those teams run.

If he continues to improve, I don't have a problem with going forward with Franks. Not sure Hurts throws any better than Franks, on a good day. Better runner for sure but I would rather develop the QBs we have.

Hurts doesn't overthrow guys near as much as Franks. Maybe Frank's spiral looks nicer, but Hurts is better at passing.
Hell, Emory Jones is a better passer than Franks. That throw in the Georgia game was money.

Not sure if it applies to all transfers yet, but I know for certain they can't block where a graduate transfer goes.

Nah, Florida needs a three year guy. Not a one and done.

I am also unclear on this, but my understanding is SEC rules are stricter than NCAA rules, so unless he has graduated, I think Saban can still block him from SEC schools. And even if he has graduated, he may still be blocked.

I don't think Franks worries anyone, to be quite honest. They know he's just a missed pass away from collapse. It kind of bothers me that Florida fans are the only ones who can't see that he isn't anything special, a mediocre QB -- giant arm, below average football intelligence.
I'll personally be glad when he's gone or not starting, hopefully this year.
