Well you paid too much for an 8 win coach and I am not talking about the money. Buyouts were a big part of it. Lots of baggage with Lane. Remember a few ole Miss posters saying he is great 10 games a year, but is a problem the other 355. Glad he is Auburn’s problem. Etc.
I think Hugh is a better fit at Auburn. He made mistakes with the Hookers, but he had confessed to that sin to his Family and Elders at his church BEFORE it was discovered.

Does your husband know you have spent the last 3-4 days on a SEC Forum melting like a little bitch. Some of the Rebel Black Bears are obviously in need of grief counselors over this hire by AU. I guess I would want to,talk about something other than my 9mm/yr coach losing 4 of his last 5 this season. Not to mention going for it on 4th and Goal from the 1, when a FG gives you a 9 point lead. This is a sham article about literally one episode, related to a single player making a single incriminating comment about receiving $.
Also wouldn’t call this hubris so much as being a responsible school administrator (in the moment). Kirby and Richt have / had made similar statements many times.
I am no fan of Freeze, but this tweet isn’t the reason (nor his salvation)
