Talented teams with disorganized and erratic play. Perennial NIT/NCAA bubble team

Squanders top talent and stays mired in mediocrity.

Loses on the road to shite teams. Gets very few big wins.

Time to make a change.

You do realize both Stansbury and Howland are both better than the alternative which is Rick Ray and being a cellar dweller?

This is why MSU fans frustrate me

While I'm frustrated with this current season, making this product into a full on shitstorm as we all see in this decade is a bad move

Please go back under your rock.

Howland being Stans 2.0 is fine with me. It is easy to get frustrated over one loss. But overall the program is in much better shape today than it was five years ago.

Howland is good as State can get. No good up and come is coming to Starkville to play in an outdated arena with horrible fan support.

Agreed.
It was a road game, and Buzz’s team just happens to have caught lightning in a bottle right now.
No reason for State fans to overreact.

No he's not. Richard Williams would except the job tomorrow.

Coach Williams is 75 years old . Don’t think he would be accepting the job nor would he even be considered.

No reason to even mention that anyway.

Coach Howland is doing a fine job and as I mentioned previously the program is light years ahead of where it was in 2015.

The fact that you are even invested enough to make a rage post is proof that Howland has this program improving.
This team isn't perfect, and, because of that, our record isn't perfect. It is what it is.

He is the perfect go-between, he would win more games instantaneously with Howland's players, and give us time to renovate the Hump.

Everyone knows Howland teams hit their stride in year 3 so you should be fine then.

Dude, firing Howland after our program has climbed out of the deep shite-filled pit that it was in would be beyond stupid, and any coach that got hired afterwards wouldn't have "Howland's players" because no one would want to come to MSU.

Stop being a drama queen.

I haven't posted anything about firing Howland, I'm just responding to another post about Howland being the best we can do. Yes, Williams is a better coach.

Nope

Stansbury achieved far more than Howland will.

Lesson for AD's to never listen to a few yelping fans.

Delta is either having another birthday party or he is off his meds. He will be Howland's biggest fan with State's next win. It's just up and down with him.

Howland is pretty mediocre, but State shouldn’t fire him unless they absolutely know they’ve got someone talented lined up.

With that said I’d be awfully pissed if I were a state fan. Y’all have been loaded on paper for three straight seasons with really nothing to show for it
