How would your team do if the season was played without a spring and fall practice

I would be concerned about the LSU defense because it’s a brand new scheme and DC so there would be a lot more miscommunication going on. Offense would just have to play like it’s flag football

We'd probably be injured like everyone else who didn't prepare for the season.

However, this isn't a new system. We have a team that returns a bunch. I'd save we'd have a sizable advantage over teams with new coaches and relying on freshmen and guys who haven't seen the field a ton.

I think if we had no spring or fall, Bo would probably spend a season calling plays form aranda's playbook.

Probably no different. It doesn't look like we've practiced at all in the spring or fall come September.

Would be rough for us as Mike Leach is a brand new coach with a new system. On top of that, he has a different personality and more interaction with the players is probably necessary at this point.

The flip side is that his system is allegedly easy to implement so we may have a leg up on some of the other programs facing new systems (Ole Miss and Arkansas).

Alabama would roll like they'd been practicing all along... no problem.

I guess everybody would be in the same boat.

Talent would probably be key.

Overcoming talent gaps is harder with limited time to develop players.

I leave it up to the board to decide if Gus is good at developing talent or not.

If he is, we would suffer.
If he is not, maybe it’s beneficial.
