I worry about the coaches. Any team with a head coach over 67 years old shouldn’t play imho. The rest will be fine.

Don’t @ Me.

I’m not fearful of this stupid virus I’m sick of it. But between the Karen moms of players and the virtue signaling leadership combined with those worried about lawsuits I do worry they’ll use this to just cancel it.

I hope I’m wrong

Some players might miss some practice reps but for returning players it shouldn't have that much of an impact. Now if players test positive during the season I would expect them to be held out unfortunately.

It would surprise me if they didn’t expect a percentage of players would text positive.

I'm personally not worried. I said months ago it would be full stadiums and full schedules and I've seen nothing that suggests otherwise.

It's pretty clear where the risks are. These type of cases are not the kind of cases that result in death and they've been happening for months without being tested. They are only being tested because of football, not because they are sick.

It's really nothing.

It could happen that our season starts off close to normal and ends up a cluster sometime in November. It could be a widespread resurgence of the virus in the population or even outbreaks among players that disrupt the season. I HOPE this is not what happens and I am NOT in favor of cancelling the season because those problems might arise. But, a season starting near normally and ending early in a cluster is more than just a remote possibility.

One thing I am relatively sure of: (assuming no effective cure or vaccine for Covid 19), none of our stadia will be full for any game.

The only prediction I will make is that UGA will be hit the hardest by it. UGA isn't a lucky program. If something is going to happen, UGA is gonna get hit by it:

Side money suspensions to star players only seemed to hit UGA.
Targeting F up's only seemed to hit UGA.
Losing to backup QB's only happens too UGA.

If Covid doesn't happen to UGA, times have indeed changed.

Have they said otherwise yet? It seems to me like they are kind of waiting and seeing what happens as long as possible. I take that to mean they think that if things keep going in the direction they are going, it should be obtainable.

One very likely effect if the season does go one regularly will be the chaos of certain teams all of the sudden losing lots of key starters that test positive at the same time and miss two weeks.

That's going to lead to a lot of unpredictability and upsets.

And, it's going to be interesting when the playoff committee is arguing about Team A only losing when missing 14 players one week.
