How will LSU fans feel if they start with a loss to FSU?

Some predictions:
"FSU is a good team!"
"This is all Coach O's fault"
"Our team is young, just wait for Kelly's recruits to play"
"Refs!"
"We will go 11-1!"
"Coach Kelly just needs to adjust to the SEC"
I doubt anyone will say anything negative about Coach Kelly because LSU decided to pay him more than triple what he made at Notre Dame (
). A coach that hasn't won shite in his nearly 40 years of coaching and y'all paying him $9 million.

I think most of us foresee a tough game against FSU. The majority of us think we'll go 7-5 or 8-4.
There are a handful of folks (on tRant at least) that are completely overlooking FSU. I know they're not vintage FSU, but I think they're going to show up and play well. They also have a Week 0 tuneup game before they play us.
I think we will beat FSU, but I think it'll be closer than many people think.
A loss to FSU would rank lower on the "surprised" scale for me than UCLA last year or getting dusted by MSU two years ago.

Why not? It's a reasonable expectation with the 2 years we just had and the roster rebuild.

They would claim they are going winless. Then when they blew out Southern U they would act like they are completely back and the FSU game was a fluke

FSU is awful, I have 0 doubt LSU can handle them. Would be a serious warning flag if they lose.

FSU sucks, but a loss wouldn't surprise me given the rebuild Kelly has on his hands. Many of our idiot fans would be calling for his head though.

ShoeF losing 9 of the last 12 against LSU, including 2020 and 2021, has done some serious damage.
LSU has won a national title with their last 3 head coaches while ShoeF has had 3 head coaches since their last national title

Have you see how much we paid the guy who won like 6 games total at Ole Miss?
Well actually we had to pay him because he won a national championship. Those are those things that Tebow used to win for you guys.

Yes, most of us would be happy with 8-4 or 7-5 considering the complete turnover in staff and patchwork secondary. As well as a new QB.
