How Well Did LSU Actually Do in the Portal?

When you consider how much talent left vs. talent coming in, it still seems like a net loss overall? Is the narrative that Brian Kelly is "killing it in the tranfer portal" all smoke-and-mirrors propaganda just to stop the bleeding?

Some of the 4 stars are now 3 stars, some of the 0 stars are now 3 and 2 stars, etc. It would just make the post more cluttered and doesnt really change the overall class by much. Just makes it fatter in the middle.

Ricks - great talent but it never showed on the field. Threw a tantrum when he didn’t get the NIL money that Stingley did and basically quit.
Jackson - good prospect but raw, never got on the field
Mcglothern - good talent but was very immature and broke multiple team rules.
Johnson - Wasn’t going to start with Brennan coming back. Not a bad player but plays scared and has the arm strength of a junior high cheerleader
Palmer - Passed up by freshman
Lee- never had a true position, good talent but not a loss
Moore - passed up by freshman
Smith - hasn’t officially left yet, good talent. Would rather he stayed
Taylor - never heard of him
Adams - never heard of him
Strong - never heard of him
