How painful will it be for UGA that their best chance in decades was ruined by Auburn?

Uh.. not really? We're ahead of schedule and they're a very good team on the LOS now. Took a little while for them to figure out the OL, but clearly better now than in the Clemson game for instance.

ETA: best chance in "decades" is a bit odd... I don't feel like 2002 is decadeS ago, not is 2007 or 2012... All of which were similar chances.

Bama has already done that to them, little bro.

I think everyone with a brain knows this is only the beginning for UGA. But it would still suck.

It’s not that bad. Auburn’s a good team and is playing like #1 right now. Whatever happens I’m excited for our future with Kirby.

I'd be disappointed but if Auburn beats us again this weekend then they're clearly the better team and arguably the best team in the nation. Still think our program is on a good trajectory under Kirby and I'm excited about the present and future.

I don't know which melt I am looking forward to the most. When uga gets that tail beat Saturday night, or when bammer gets left out of the playoff Sunday.

It will be a weekend long remembered. It will have seen the death of uga and the end of the bammer dynasty.

Very when they realize this year is the exception for Smart and not the standard.

Not sure how you can be truly excited while Kirby still employs Chaney. Once he sh*tcans that trash from the offense, then you can be excited

Game could go either way, Georgia will make adjustments and our star rb is very banged up.

Yes it's real painful for us. Took an undefeated #1 team into November for the first time since 83, in Kirby's 2nd season, with a less than SEC O-Line, turning away 4* kids, etc etc etc

The loss to Bama in 2012 was gut-wrenching because we knew that was likely once in a lifetime deal with CMR.

Losing to AU would suck, but we're way ahead of schedule. Unlike 2012 this shouldn't be our last rodeo.

Guess I don't have a brain, because I see Skirby as McElwain 2.0. They'll be longing for the days of Richt in a few years.

Kirby's is recruiting Top 3 classes at UGA. McElwain could barely crack the Top 20 at Florida.

Not even close to the same thing.

Chaney has us averaging 35.5 points a game with a true freshman quarterback behind and average to slightly above average offensive line. He can be frustrating sometimes but he's doing fine so far.
