Let’s be honest, we all know LSU is about to destroy Clemson for the title, and Joe Burreaux will go down as one of the greatest QBs to ever do it in the SEC.

But we all know that teams built around generational QB talent have a tough time replicating that success in subsequent seasons. Auburn couldn’t replace Cam, aTm couldn’t replace Johnny Football, etc. Bama’s dynasty was built on dominant defensive play for the most part and just not making mistakes at the QB position in big moments.

Will coach O have what it takes to do what so many others have failed to do?

Because LSU is like these two...

Remind the record LSU has against these two in the last decade?

They’ll definitely take a step back due to draft departures, but they’ve still got the third best roster talent in the SEC.

I expect they’ll be the second best offense and have another stout defense. Should give everybody on their schedule trouble, with the possible exception of a revenge minded Bama squad.

I'm gonna wait and see who they bring in at QB. If it's Brennan, probably 9-3.

And just exactly what does that have to do with his post?

He was comparing LSU to them. Is that hard to understand for you?

Oh wait... I forgot about the extra chromosomes in inbred land.

LSU won championships before Burrow, LSU will win championships after Burrow. It's as simple as that.

Which means precisely jack f#&%!ng shiite concerning the question: what happens when Burrow goes away?

Answer: LSU goes back to being LSU. A good program, an SEC Big Six, but not an Alabama-type dynasty. You guys are acting like you've got your Thousand Year Reich lined up, when you're having a season for the ages. Enjoy, but you don't get to be Palpatine for the next 50 years. Just not the way it works anymore. Hell, even ALABAMA can't be an Alabama type dynasty anymore. Too much parity in college ball now.

10-2 would be the ceiling I would think. LSU will lose a lot from this team.

Potentially LSU could lose Their starting QB, RB, WR, 3 Olinemen, TE, 4 dlinemen, 2 LBs, and 3 DBs

I’ll say now LSU will win 10 regular season games next year as a basement.

I think 11-1 with a loss to Florida. LSU will beat Bama’s arse in Baton Rouge tough.

Again, what does LSU's record against Auburn and A&M have to do with them having to replace a generational QB?

Nah. Most LSU fans I've seen expect a dropoff next year. Joe Burrow is gone and so is a lot of talent on both sides of the ball.

LSU should still be better than they have been in the past since they've got solid coordinators on both sides and recruit well, but few expect next year to a repeat of this year.

You don’t think the talent on the roster has anything to do with sustaining success?

Ok then.

LSU hasn't won less than 8 games this century. Obviously the offense will not be as good without the best single season QB performance in CFB history but acting like LSU will have a huge dropoff in overall play and start going 7-5 & 8-4 every year is just absolutely retarded.

I guess I’ll have to explain this...

LSU has never had a generational quarterback until burrow. In the years in which LSU didn’t have burrow, they still had good teams. This is indicated by the record LSU has against the two teams LSU was compared to while burrow wasn’t at LSU.

You're such an idiot. LSU has won at least 8 games every year since 2000 and we finished 6 in the country last year. Thats what it has to do with comparing them to a&m and Auburn. Neither of them have had the consistent success as LSU no matter who our coach is. You are stupid as frick if you think we will have a massive dropoff after Burrow leaves. We will go at least 10-2 next year, maybe even better.

Well he’s using baseless insults. Which usually means that it’s an idiot. Try not to take him seriously, probably just an autistic adult (extra chromosome due to bama inbreeding).
