Didn't Trump buy the food himself? It's not like in previous admins the White House actually prepared steaks for them. I don't think previously they got any food.

I got it because when I googled college football and "happy meals" to see what everyone was talking about, an old story about the Trump Clemson dinner came up w/ some dumbass scandal story about how much he spent feeding the team. Otherwise I'd probably have forgotten all about the Clemson McDonalds dinner. Doing a news search for it now, it's ridiculous to see how much overreaction there was to that. The Clemson visit happened during a Democrat government shutdown, so the White House couldn't use it's normal event budget like Obama did for his parties.
