How much Longer can Cal use the "Young Excuse"

Finished 5th in sec last year, sec co runner ups this year, gifted by basketball gods a Virginia loss to a 16 seed, an Arizona loss, and still couldn't beat Kansas state to cakewalk to a final four. Perhaps Cal should only recruit 3 to 4 year players, the blue chips just arent getting it done at the sec most storied program. Also lost the sec to a younger team this year, with a 2nd year coach

Coach Cal is a joke. WW is the best coach in the SEC bar none.

He will make it furthest in the tourney (again), and people will start kissing his arse (again).
Then next year they’ll start off slow (again) and we’ll be right back to square 1. Success in March > November-February

He needs to work on getting under the salary cap so maybe a kid like Smart would be willing to go play for him

Yep, same thing year after year. I think VOLS get bounced in the Sweet 16 and UK gets to the Elite 8, maybe Final 4. Cal will have them humming after they win the SEC Tournament.

Every year I'd assume. It's the truth after all, considering the amount of one and done players that go through there.
