quote:We had less than zero talent at the most important position on the field last year (QB), we now have two different QBs on the roster that would have instantly started last year and were still competitive in a couple of conference games. I think people are really underselling the importance of that position and just how much better we are there this year. We were bad last year, but getting a better QB is huge for an offense like Morris'. Not to mention one with extensive knowledge of the system. Colorado State and North Texas both legitimately had better QBs on their teams last year. None of our non-conference opponents have that advantage this year. We'll win all of our OOC and win 2 in conference. Our O-Line will keep us from picking up more. 6 wins.
Year two should show decent improvement, usually does under a good coach at least.

Why on earth would Hogs fire a coach to hire a losing record coach? Smh on this one but every conference has in conference scrimmages so Ty Arkansas.

A&M will not be a slaughter. They beat us by 7 last year, and we had the ball in the 4th quarter with a chance to tie. It'll go to overtime like it does almost every year. They barely beat us with the worst team we've had in decades. Same with LSU. Both games we lost by 7.
Kinda Like LSU and Bama when they play in BR. Except something like 29-0 comes along. Aggie by 21

It's so cute when your team's success is relative to that team of an opposing fan's opinion.
Hey bud, show me he isn't an unproven coach. You just look like a crying finger pointer. MS St. fans will have Chad's Wiki page memorized at the pace I'm on.

SMU was 1-11 the year before he got there and he took them from 2, to 5, to 7 wins. Then took over another dumpster fire here.
We were banking on his Texas recruiting connections and success as an OC at Clemson. Give him a chance to build a team at least.

You are too generous, he didn't actually care to know the situation. He just wanted to flame a little.

Chad's true colors will shine again this season. We will be lucky to win 4 games.
That's why you don't hire a high school coach with a losing record and expect anything besides what we have had so far, the worst football team in program history.
Aggie Chad gonna Aggie Chad

Then show me how Moorhead is unproven. He was 8-5 last year(not 2-10), and is 46-15 as a HC in his career. You just go with the narrative that “State lost three first rounders they gon’ suck hurr durr” when we actually are going to be better at QB, OL, WR, and LB. Yes, the DL won’t be as good, but will be better than a typical State DL. Last year was atypical for most any school not named Bama. Just as you say with Chad the Great, JoeMo will have more of his system, players, and style in. Why is it supposed to work for Chad and not Joe, especially when according to HCing records is more proven? You just spout shite you know nothing about. It works both ways troll.

8-5 doesn't make someone proven when projections was a 10 win season.

His record at fricking Fordham is as irrelevant as Morris' record as a Texas high school coach.
Difference between Moorhead and Morris is that everyone knew we would suck last year and everyone was projecting 10 wins for MS State and yall won 8. Arkansas will beat Ms. State this year and State will be lucky to make a bowl.

Who projected a 10 win season? A few State tards on here? Most “experts” didn’t. They saw 8-9 wins. The ceiling was 10 and floor 7. Joe settled in at 8. How about Chad? What makes him proven? Losing to CSU and NT? How about State 52-6? Look at it both ways and without blinders, but as a troll I know you can’t. Hell, I don’t know why I even respond to some of you.

Define everyone and prove it. Preseason mags like Phil Steele, Athlons, Lindy’s, and the Sporting News all had State going to lesser bowls(Texas, Gator, Music City) than we actually did. Oh, the idiot trolls on here said it? Good deal.

And people thought we were delusional last year. Arkansas has won one SEC game in the past 2 years. Croom wasn't even that bad.

So, the “experts” had Arky going 2-10 last year? Yeah, I think not. Most had them at 5-7 or 4-8. According to that Chad underachieved as much as Joe. Right?

Most fans yes, media said this was the best roster and talent State has ever had.

There isn't one argument saying he was. Most of his credit he gets is from his time at Clemson. He still needs to prove himself.

You are literally bragging about a 2 win team right now. I can say, oh Arkansas put up more points on Bama, but that doesn't mean dogshit.

but as a troll I know you can’t
Bet you are considered more of a troll around here than I am. You just don't like moments of truth.
I will out argue you, prove you wrong, and give you facts, but you will resort to bragging about beating a 2 win team and calling another person a troll because you have nothing else, it means little. Don't forget I was correct on State not winning 10 games, made the bet, and was one of the top people in it. You had fans Welch over a stupid sig bet.
