How many times has your school been the source of another school's only loss on the year?

Obviously wins in a national championship, SEC Championship or bowl game helped boost a few of these.

If we only included regular season games (No Conference Championship games), here are the results since 1970

Florida 7
Auburn 6
Alabama 4
Arkansas 4
Georgia 3
Missouri 3
Ole Miss 3
South Carolina 2
LSU 2
Kentucky 1
Tennessee 1
Texas A&M 1

Off the top of my head Ole Miss was Notre Dame, Florida and Alabama. Not sure if there were any others

Who would know this info? Seems really random.

I knew A&M did it recently vs Bama (as you have listed) and maybe did it to OU in the early 00s.

I assume this includes the postseason as well? I know Auburn’s only regular season loss in 1988 was to LSU in the “earthquake game”

Just having fun with numbers that you wouldn’t otherwise see anywhere else, brother.

Also trying to deter the troll-festivities and create engaging coversation. It’s not really working though.

Sean,

You remind me of the posters on the SECR circa 2007-2009. Good material and good sports discussion.

The latest game for MU on this list produced my favorite football image ever:

Blew it the next week against Oklahoma but still a great moment.
