How do we know he's the backup just yet? With the way Fields has looked early on in spring practice I think the dawgs may just match what Bama has at the position.

Terry Dean may have been POTY in 93. He got his arse benched for good in 94.

It sounds like he has outperformed Fromm so far. However, take that with a grain of salt because Eason outperformed Fromm every practice last year.

You had a better backup last year . Your backup QB this year should get use sitting on the bench because it will be his career in pro ball .
