UGA returns 12 , but could become 13.

4 OL
2 WR
1 TE
2 DL
2 DB
1 MLB* (he hasnt been kicked off yet, but its hard to count on a kid like this lasting another season)

Michael and Chubb were the most important part of your team. See you in another 38 years.

It depends on how you look at, but we return 17 that could be considered starters. Probably 29 who played significant minutes.

Sonny Michael was a great running back for us.

UGA always has and always will have great RB's. We have 3 RB's that will do just fine this coming season.

We lose 4/5 OL and top 2 RBs on offense. Return literally everybody else (QB, H-Back/FB, TE, every single WR)
Defense loses starting BUCK, Will OLB, CB1, and both safeties (and main S backup).
But really RB and the two S spots are the only 3 spots that won't be replaced by somebody that doesn't already have significant experience, starting or otherwise. Or that won't be an upgrade.
So basically, Auburn is STAAAAACCKKEDDD and the rest of you are FFUUUUUUUCCKKEDDD

4 OL (Williams, Pierschbacher, Cotton, Womack)
1 RB (Harris)
1 TE (Smith)
2 DL (Buggs, Davis)
3 LB (Wilson, Jennings, Lewis/Miller)
1 DB (Thompson - I'm counting the guy who started the playoffs as a returning starter)
So that's 12.
Then you've got Moses who started like two or three games I think? I didn't count him though. I didn't count Hurts either, although I guess he technically is a returning starter.

South Carolina
1 QB
3 OL
4 WR
2 RB
3 DL
2 LB
2 DB
The hazards of starter injuries one season turns into blessings the following season: Losing WR Samuel early in 2017 allowed freshmen OrTre Smith (10 starts) and Shi Smith (7 starts) to step up. So adding Samuel back into the mix for 2018, along with leading receiver Bryan Edwards (13 starts) give USC possibly the deepest WR corps for Bentley to throw to next season.
This is also the case with RB: the injury to top rusher Dowdle (4 starts) allowed backup AJ Turner (6 starts) to step up, and even Ty'Son Williams (3 starts) to get major carries. All 3 return for next year.
We return all but DT Stallworth to the DL - I had not realized that top SDE Sawyer actually only started 3 gms all season, and that So. Kier Thomas started 11 gms. And while we return Fenton and Williams in the secondary, Montac also has extensive starts at both Safety and Nickle, although he only started 2 gms last season....

They were awesome, as was the RB they replaced before they proved themselves. Takes a whole team to be awesome though.
