They were always called the Coaches Show.

I don't remember seeing one since Jackie Sherrill.

Are they still a thing?

I think Saban still does it. Dan Mullen did it for a while and then he stopped after Cristil retired.

A quick Google search brought up The Ed Orgeron Show, but I'm not sure what that is. Sounds like the same thing

You took my idea and ran with it. Good job.

Saban does one right after games, normally on the field. You can tell his part only takes about 5-10 minutes and then they split all the highlights in. I'm sure it is just another revenue stream for them and worth the time.

You were definitely the inspiration

I honestly haven't thought about those in so long, and they were Must See TV for me for a few decades

Just searching school sites, it looks like most went to their websites or Social Media pages. Smart way to keep the revenues

Auburn still does one. I watched it last night on the Montgomery affiliate for a good laugh.

I know Mark Stoops has a weekly radio appearance. He had a tv show last year and he may still have I show but I dont watch it.

These shows are kinda falling off in the modern era where you can stream a replay of the entire game at any time.

Rick Pitino at Louisville quit doing his show after the whole sex on a table thing and left it in the hands of a local radio host.

Mostly I just like to point out he banged a whore on a table.

Yep, it looks like most schools have gone to a weekly call-in type show.

I guess they finally got tired of trying to talk to surly coaches the day following a game You couldn't understand 2 words out of Jackie's mouth the day after a loss

Coach Bryant had an awesome Sunday show. He always had a Coca Cola and a bag of Golden Flake chips on the desk in front of him. He would just sit up there with that low rumble and say "Bingo!" when Bama made a big play.

Dear god the auto-translate caption feature on my TV might be the best thing ever with The Ed Orgeron show.

These replay shows will still look like they're filmed with a microwave 30 years from now.
