How many spots will the SEC and Big 10 get? 7 like last season if ND wins out?
Big 12: One or two spots. If TT wins out and loses the CG then it's 2 spots for sure. If BYU wins out and loses to TT again it will be close. Another beat down by TT and maybe they leave BYU out to a 2 loss team.
ACC: One or two spots: One spot most likely but if GT won out to finish the season beating GA and lost the CG the ACC would get 2 spots.
Looks like it could get kind of crazy at the end possibly.

Lots of key games coming up outside the SEC. We talk a lot about SEC scenarios but outside the SEC matters to see how many chairs are available. We want the right teams to lose and eliminate themselves and create spots for 10-2 and possibly 9-3 SEC teams:
ND at Pitt-An ND loss knocks them out and Pitt can only get to the playoff by winning out and being the sole ACC team.
Georgia at Georgia Tech-Georgia needs to beat the nerds and essentially eliminate them from the Playoff barring winning the ACC and show SEC dominance.
USC at Oregon-USC win puts Oregon on the bubble, Oregon win knocks out USC completely.
Iowa at USC-Also could eliminate USC. Best case is USC loses this and beats Oregon. If they win it also shows Iowa is now a 4 loss team with no quality wins yet they have been pumped up to be great by B1G homers all year.
NC State at Miami-NC State has been the grim reaper of the ACC with wins over UVA and GT. Can they do it to Miami?
Miami at Pitt- Very dangerous game for Miami as it would knock them out and Pitt is probably a better team at this point. As stated Pitt can only get in Playoff by being sole ACC team.
Utah the next 3 weeks at Baylor, KSU at home, at KU. All games they should win and all games they could lose. A loss eliminates them completely.
BYU at Cincy. Dangerous game for them and a loss all but eliminates them barring winning the B12. Don't really want that as Tech might get an at large even though they wouldn't deserve it at that point.

I see no way in hell they ever give any conference more than 4 no matter how many actually deserve it.

Not sure it's a lock to get 5 in unless the Big 10 only has 2 teams that go 10-2 or better. My guess now until we see future losses is the SEC gets 4 teams in.

Oregon you know they want them in at 10-2 but that schedule is really bad.

SEC gets 4 easily, possibly as many as 6 so I'll split the difference and say 5
Big10 has 3 locks: tOSU, Indiana, and Oregon ... I'm struggling with who they get at 4th slot if any. USC and Michigan are next highest ranked but they're so far down the list at 17 and 18 respectively I'd leave both out.
