I think their current record is 11-5 so they exceeded your prediction.

5 if you include the Music City Bowl loss to Northwestern

If that happens, Saban might just retire, and Dabo would be Tuscaloosa bound
Dabo Swinney on possibly replacing Nick Saban: ‘Never say never’
Nick Saban won’t coach the Crimson Tide forever. And a number of people have already circled one prominent coach as his replacement.
A number of fans and media types alike have suggested Clemson coach Dabo Swinney to replace Saban. Swinney has already a national title and he also played at Alabama in the early 90s.
So what does Swinney think of all of this talk about replacing Saban? Well, he gave his thoughts to Kirk Herbstreit and Ian Fitzsimmons on the Herbstreit and Fitzsimmons podcast.
And while he is very happy at Clemson, he didn’t say he wouldn’t consider the move.
First of all, anybody that would even say that or suggest that, I’m humbled by that and certainly appreciate that anybody would even think that way, that they would want me to be a candidate for a job like Alabama...I’ve always said ‘you never say never,’ because you have no idea what the dynamics are going to be.

Yeah and the reason all these assistants are leaving is because Saban is cleaning house.
Y'all just can't accept that Saban got this ever loving shite kicked out him.

hell yeah. Alabama got their arse kicked, and while you always want to win, you're not always going to, and an occasional arse kicking sometimes give you a new perspective and a lot of motivation.

I'll admit me. No melt in me. We lost, we got hammered any other way you want to put it.
I'll take a 146-21 record over 12 years and ask anyone to match it.
