Being serious, it really isnt that much of a concern. If it's excessive, sure. But if someone said "we played a great game"...i don't care.

Well, I have heard Les Miles say "Us" and "We" when addressing fans so if he agrees why should it bother anybody

I say we when referring to Alabama because I've been going to games since I was a child.
I say we when referring to FSU because I am alumni.

The amount of money it cost me to get a degree from Auburn (out of state tuition) I gladly say we. Anyone saying otherwise can kiss my arse.

I don't really understand why anybody cares about this. Fans, whether they graduated from the school or not, are what keep the programs running. If somebody cares enough about a particular school to watch their games, spend money on merchandise, etc. then they have every right to say "we". What's wrong with including yourself within a community of fans of the same team?

I do it on occasion. I think the people who call posters out on it are childish and looking to troll or flame 99% of the time. Everyone knows what people mean.
