Any team that I've been rooting for my whole life = we.

Atlanta braves = "they"

LSU = "we"

Oh the graduate elitists. You aren't a part of the physical football team so therefore none of us have the right to. Get off your high horse.

I'm an LSU alum, I never say "we"

I've never thrown a pass, made a block, punted a ball or made a tackle for LSU.

Therefore I don't feel I have the right to say "we"

The guys on the field have the right to

I think if you contribute any money to the athletic department, you reserve the right to say "We."

I graduated from Alabama and I say "we". I also do the same for every team I cheer for. It's much easier than saying "Liverpool", "Detroit", or "Borussia Monchengladbach".

I worked with folk in alabama who barely graduated highschool and they would say we when referring to bama. A little annoying

So now you have to graduate high school with flying colors, or have a college degree.
What if its a kid and still in school, can he/she say we?

It is pretty fricking dumb to say "we" in referring to an organization that really doesn't give 2 shits if you exist or not.

For example: Tennessee fan says "We really need to get rid of Dooley. ". Meanwhile, not 1 single person is asking a tenn fan what they think. They don't care. As long as you keep buying tickets.

Compared to: A man might say to his wife" I think we should adopt a child". She actually gives a shite about what he says. The "we" is reciprocal. All the members of the "we" are important to the group.

I know y'all' will think this isn't a valid point

When Bama wins, "we" kicked that arse

When Bama loses, "they" fricked the pooch.

I say "we." I am a student at Alabama. There is nothing wrong with anyone who never attended Alabama saying "we" either. Anyone who thinks differently has a superiority complex.

Wow, very true, I used to live in bham and watched many Bama games with some hard core Bama fans.

As soon as a player screwed up, he was called every racist name in the book

If not for we fans buying tickets and licensed products we wouldn't have a team to pull for.
