Half of them.

Once they go down to do a push-up the other half helps lift them up.

Duh

What's the difference? (honest question)

Corps of Cadets members are not undergrad students?

Not me. I think 95%+ of the student body is not. Was 100% military many decades ago, long before my time.

Seriously, no troll.

Do the “cool” kids on campus look at them dudes holding their wieners and yelling as nerds?

Sweetwaterbilly. The guys you see on TV in military looking uniforms are in the Corps of Cadets. Basically ROTC, I believe. The other 95%+ of students are not part of the program, they are just regular students.

Yes. Us regular students weren't even given jiz gars. They are typically dorks, but some are serious about going military as a career. The guys making military a career are fine with me. So some are not dorks, most are.

I was both. Originally enrolled at A&M and joined the Corps but found that at that point in life I wasn't mature enough to handle the demands of the Corps, get good grades and maintain a social life. I was only successful at two of those, and grades wasn't one of them. Dropped out and joined the Army and knock it all you want, but my time as a fish in the Corps made basic training at Benning seem like a breeze. Following my enlistment I returned to A&M but not the Corps, to finish up my undergrad.

Your experience is more common than many think.

Just think, almost half of the men in that picture are Marine Majors or Navy Lieutenant Commanders now.

Two of my cadet classmates from the Aggie Band that I still keep in contact with are in the Navy. One is an instructor at USNA. The other is a SEAL.
