Bare with me here. I've got to get through the chaff of the SEC that is Arkansas, South Carolina and Vandy to get to the good stuff.

Vandy as a football entity is one of the most uninteresting programs in the game. There is very little of interest concerning the Commodores even if you are a college football fanatic like myself. Two years ago, CBS tried everything imaginable and unimaginable to hype up the Bama/Vandy game. People were calling for an upset for reasons I'll never understand. As such, Alabama destroyed them on a CBS SEC Game of the week and embarrassed them publicly -- particularly that gay DT fellow that played for them.

As lackluster of a football program as they already are, Vandy will take a slight step back from 6-6 and only win 5 and lose 7. They could very well win only 4 but will do no better than win 5.

Vandy will only beat South Carolina in the SEC and lose the rest. Its OOC opponents are not at all impressive (their OOC opponents are as good as Miss State's though) -- Purdue being the best OOC team and so should win all of its OOC games.

Vandy will join Arkansas and South Carolina as the only 3 SEC teams that will not see any bowl games in the postseason. 5 wins is optimistic since winning 5 or 4 really hinges on South Carolina. If South Carolina wins 5, it will be because of Vandy. Since that game is in November, it's a possibility that the Commodores will lose it.

Tennessee will absolutely blow the 'Dores out. After being beatdown by Tennessee and since Derek Mason will fail to get the Commodores even to a low-tier bowl game (he's led them to two shitty ones where they lost both times), 2019 will be his last season.

Purdue? The team that destroyed Ohio State last year is an easy road win for Vanderbilt and "weak"? Alrighty then

As far as Mississippi State goes we're playing Southern Mississippi (the only other FBS team in MS) who had the #3 defense in CFB last year, a Kansas State team with a new coach, and Louisiana Lafayette in the Superdome(for whatever reason but I'll take a fun weekend in NOLA).

You can go back to your team Tennessee. Or if you get bored go back to being one of the 10 Southern Miss fans.

Thanks for your vote of confidence. Could you give the team a pep-talk before the season begins? I am sure they would love it?

Well, I'm late and stupid for bothering to dig this up, but you're especially stupid for saying that Ke'Shawn Vaughn isn't interesting. The guy who led the SEC in YPC by a whopping 1.2 yards while finishing third in the league for total rushing yards is damn sure a reason to keep an eye on Vandy games for the game-breaking plays.
