I don't care for the manufactured corporate rivalries sponsored by shelter insurance. It sucks and the trophy needs to be thrown in the Mississippi River. Arkansas fans don't hate Missouri as they are the little guy just like Arkansas.
You have to have hatred for your opponent and vice versa. Arkansas hates the villains of college football. Teams that have political clout and make up rules as they go and Texas is the perfect example but not the only one.
Arkansas doesn't have a rival in the SEC but they strongly dislike the SEC as they don't see them as a true member of the conference. Thus treated as an outsider. So the state has a chip on it's shoulder as some still remember the SWC days.

Since joining the SEC, Missouri is a combined 12-9 against Arkansas in football in basketball (1-5 in football) .
